Once the Design Contract is executed, our award-winning architecture and design team will work with you to put your vision to paper.
We will evaluate a survey of your property and research jurisdictional rules and historic preservation regulations. We will field measure your home to develop a baseline for the new design.
Based on your vision and input, we will begin to develop design options for you to review. We will update our Feasibility Study based on the details outlined in the approved drawings.
Once the basic floor plan is approved, we will prepare and submit plans for permitting (if applicable). We will begin working with you to finalize layouts, space planning, and finish selections. Our designers will guide you through this process to ensure all selections are within budget and in accordance with the overall vision.
Our trade partners will provide firm quotes after a meeting at your home. The fixed price for the construction contract is developed.
This phase will kick off with a 3-week pre-production period during which you will meet your project manager and finalize on-site logistics.
The site will be prepped for construction.
Your PM will provide daily updates and meet with you weekly to review the ongoing schedule and answer any questions. You will be provided access to our project management app, where you can view daily logs, photos, your detailed schedule, billing information, change orders, and other details.
At the completion of your project, Copper Sky will provide a warranty book that will include manufacturers’ warranties for all purchased items installed in your home.
This book will also include an in-depth list of all items with model numbers, pricing and finishes. Copper Sky conducts a visit 60-days after completion of the project. You will be provided details on how to schedule your 60-day warranty visit.
